My New Baby

Fri Aug 10, 2007, 7:33 PM
No, I didn't give birth,
but...
I finally got my first D-SLR camera! :D
Nikon D40 :) I'm quite happy with it, and very excited for what's to come. Hopefully I will be able to master this, and soon enough be able to take stunning shots.

I'm so excited!
Get ready, guys ;p

Mmm.

Mon Jul 16, 2007, 5:54 PM
I saved a life today.
(Unable to move
struggling for life
traumatized
victimized)
On the brink of its death,
I released the spiders prey.

A life saved.
It was a beetle. I thought it was dead, but it squirmed, and I couldn’t help to see something else die.

My aunt’s cat, Jinga, died yesterday. July 15th, 2007. She was 21 human years old, and over 100 cat years old. She was pretty chill, liked to be warm, and liked to sit on your lap. She was a strong old-woman-cat though! I mean last year she would still be able to hunt and jump on your lap, and she was like 80, man. That’s perseverance right there.

Anyway, I finished Chapter two of my story. And I finished my US History 2 Outline.
Accomplished.

I’m souped for Wednesday– A LOTR Extended version movie run through at Harris’ house. :)

And I’m even more excited for Thursday, Tim comes back. Finally.

Out the window

Tue Jul 10, 2007, 7:16 PM
I tried
going out my window, that is. Second story.
but there's somebody in the kitchen
I would like to sit on my roof to just gaze at the stars and such to think, even sleep. I think my legs are long enough now.

I thought I had problems. Real problems.
But no, i'm just another american with their petty problems.
I hate having to see that there is something worse out there. that whatever is worse, they have nothing to look down upon.
I think if we all looked up, everyone and everything, there would be no power, or war, or psychological syndromes.

I apologize for not being able to understand
I apologize for feeling this emotion that is long sought out for.
But what truly counts is the apostrophe
and the space between the words.
because 'imsorry' doesn't exist.

when there is so much to say,
we tend to hush our voices.
we anticipate the other to carefully pry our skulls off
and read our thoughts instead.
we writhe and cry
their eyes scan and burn
you are going too far!
(seven thousand, nine hundred and ninety eight, seven thousand, nine hundred and ninety nine)
mouths hang open--
we must look in.
suspended now,
in the darkness of a hollow throat.

The Morning Commute

Sun Jul 8, 2007, 8:10 PM
How many people can honestly deny their loneliness?
NO! IT’S NOT EASY.
Not for me, atleast.

You must come back to me.
Materialize
as a tangerine. and you would be much sweeter,

and we can start from there.

he is in japan, and i am in new jersey. what is that? like… eight thousand miles.
That’s a helluva lot.
i’m neeeedy, i miss him. [I’m not actually needy, really.] I’m going to try and call him from my home phone. I hate being this way though. But I should be thankful for even having someone, you know? I should be happy to have him, and I am. So as long as I do, I shouldn’t be too sad. :)

Anyway, back from Virginia, lots of news, break-ups, get together’s, and just relaxing. too much of my cousins. I’m kidding, I love them.

It’s pitch black out and the part of the world that only matters to you is illuminated by the infamous moon; everybody seems so tired.
Yet, when society awakes to the dancing streaks of Sun’s graceful hands, yawns fill the dreamy yellow atmosphere.
they are still tired.

Tired like the pupils of artists who dab so furiously at their paint,
While much of the world still lurks in black and white,
they desperately search for the one unseen color.

Much like pathetic politicians who carry the world
not on their shoulders,
but in their wallets.

We are exhausted.

Dear world,
It is past your bed time.
